Bigè enters phase 2 of its growth journey announcing the arrival of Giandomenico Maiolo, a professional with over twenty years of experience in the world of contemporary, gourmet, and Roman pan pizza.
Thus concludes, by mutual agreement, the professional collaboration with Romualdo Rizzuti and his team, to whom FaroAlto extends its best wishes for their new professional endeavors. Rizzuti's contribution was instrumental in building Bigè's initial identity, which is now ready to evolve further while keeping at its core quality, research, and personality.
Born in 1986, Maiolo brings to the project a vision focused on doughs, leavening, raw material selection, and the development of an increasingly contemporary and experiential offering.
“I was immediately struck by the ambition of the project and the human capital I found. I am enthusiastic about contributing to the development of the Bigè chain, to fulfill the desire to build a recognizable brand, contemporary, and destined to grow over time,” says Giandomenico Maiolo.
The group's objective FaroAlto is to further develop the Bigè project, strengthening its identity and overall experience, creating an increasingly strong dialogue between pizza, cuisine, atmosphere, and research.

Founded in Siena within the group FaroAlto, Bigè is now a project dedicated to contemporary pizza, capable of expressing the essence of its Signature offerings, also through its Street and Deliveryformats. With locations in Siena, Milan, and soon in other Italian cities, the brand is already looking towards new openings and future developments, maintaining a convivial, pop, yet refined style, where artisanal quality, atmosphere, and experience become part of the same identity.
